Heart to Mouth Seminar

Gutwell Medical and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) joined together for an in-person educational seminar about cardiovascular disease, nitric oxide, and the oral microbiome.

This talk explains the anatomy of blood vessels, how endothelial damage is a root cause of vascular disease, and what role the glycocalyx and nitric oxide play in vascular health and disease.
